Project team’s face-to-face analysis meeting

Project team’s face-to-face analysis meeting

🟠 As the DAYAN Project Group, we have conducted 38 in-depth interviews to date. We formed paired buddy groups for their analysis. We decided to examine our interviews by dividing them into three main variable clusters. These took shape as Moral Injury (MI) (+), MI (−), and earthquake survivor clusters. Each buddy group has for now begun analysing 4 interviews according to the Grounded Theory analysis steps we developed. 📝

At our first general consensus meeting on 20 June, 3 separate groups came together; they shared their experiences in the analysis process, shared their initial findings, exchanged views on theoretical and technical matters, and took a very important step towards developing a shared language. The work was both very enjoyable and highly instructive. 🥙 The joy of working face to face again after months was the icing on the cake. 🙏

For this first face-to-face analysis meeting of our project, our endless thanks to the Department of History of Medicine and Ethics at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, its esteemed chair Prof. Dr. Nuket Buken, and our project researcher Dr. Sevim Coşkun.
